Questions collectors usually ask

Straight answers about buying, shipping, and caring for original works and limited editions.

How do I know a piece is authentic?
Every original and limited edition comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The certificate states the title, year, medium, edition number (if applicable), and the exact materials used. Keep it with the piece; it is the document that confirms provenance if you ever decide to resell.
What does "limited edition" mean in this catalog?
Editions are capped at a fixed number, usually between 25 and 50 prints, depending on the series. Each print is numbered and signed by hand. Once the edition sells out, no further copies are made from that plate or file, which keeps the value tied to the edition's scarcity.
Can I see a piece in person before buying?
Yes. If you are in the Campos d'Oeste region, you can arrange a private viewing at the studio by phone or email. For buyers elsewhere, I can send additional high-resolution photographs and a condition report before you commit. I do not rush decisions, and I am happy to answer specific questions about a work's surface or texture.
How is the artwork packed and shipped?
Works on paper are shipped flat in rigid archival packaging. Stretched canvases are wrapped in protective film and crated if the size requires it. Shipping is insured for the full value of the piece, and you will receive a tracking number as soon as the work leaves the studio. Framing is not included unless stated in the product details.
What should I know about hanging and maintenance?
Keep the work out of direct sunlight and away from radiators or air vents. For mixed media pieces, avoid cleaning the surface with liquids; a soft, dry brush is enough to remove dust. If you are unsure about mounting a heavy piece, a professional installer is the safer option, especially for plaster or drywall.
